Senior Account Manager
California Bay Area
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for implementing a consultative approach with assigned customer, delivering high value services, and creating a best of class relationship that produces outstanding business results for both partners. Key measures of this success will be positive financial impact to both partners, business growth through expansion of services, increased account penetration, extension of long term agreements, and continuous improvement of overall customer satisfaction. General goals include: attainment of the company and customer business objectives, consistent and timely delivery of services, new business development, increased account penetration, client relationship management, raising the bar on customer satisfaction metrics, and effective internal stakeholder interaction.
MAJOR AREAS OF PERFORMANCE
- Ongoing development of new business opportunities by extending services to a wider audience and /or providing more services to existing client contacts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient cross functional management of service departments; manage service deliverables at or above contractual requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the entire customer organization.
- Work with Vice President – General Manager and/or Client Services General Manger to develop and execute strategic account plan to achieve assigned sales, profit, and service objectives
- Work with company finance, operations and information technology departments to achieve gross profit and other financial goals.
- Provide leadership in defining requirements and directing internal resource to achieve goals within assigned accounts
- Support and maintain all corporate quality standards, policies, business practices and work instructions as outlined in the company quality systems documentation.
- Conduct ongoing client business owner discovery and feedback sessions to understand and assess client’s expectations and satisfaction with company services

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree
- Minimum three years sales and /or account management experience
- Strong organizational skills to create, manage and execute a successful account development plan
- Proven track record of key account management and major account business development
- Strong general business, customer relationship and financial acumen
- Self starter who can work independently but also work well in a team environment
- History of meeting and exceeding business development, customer satisfaction and relationship management objectives
- Excellent verbal and written skills including presentations and proposals to senior level audience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
